Distilled on the 31st of July 2009 and bottled on the 5th of March 2024, this expression has matured for 14 years, offering a remarkable depth of character. The whisky has undergone its aging process in a Hogshead cask, a choice that imparts distinctive nuances to the spirit.
With only 263 bottles available, Cask No. 312079 showcases the exclusivity of this particular release, adding to its allure for discerning enthusiasts. The careful craftsmanship involved in its creation is evident in the meticulous selection of the cask type, ensuring a harmonious balance between the spirit and wood influence.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Coconut oil, tangerine, apricot, vanilla, and honeysuckle combine in a sweet perfume.Palate: Apricot and tangerine dance together with a notable warmth and a touch of fennel. Waxy feel.Finish: Apricot gives way to green apple lingering on the tongue and bringing you back for a second sip.
